In this mission there are many that are offering their help. Social scientists and researchers are investigating the harm. Health professionals are working to reverse much of the harm already caused by the adoption of these unsafe products. Journalists and authors are informing the public of these harms and the great work being done to reverse those harms. There are law firms focusing on righting the wrongs caused by this harm and with their efforts serve to motivate product manufacturers to consider child safety in their products. Our public health officials and government leaders serve an important role in studying the need for legislation and public policy changes to keep children safe. We also recognize the technology companies that have placed a special focus on the safety and wellbeing of children. In addition, there are organizations founded to advocate and communicate to the public about technology and child safety, and with the help of charitable foundations, fund this work. The section intends to enumerate the types of individuals and organizations committed to this mission, and to identify as this mission evolves, other categories of resources that can serve to assist.
