Lets Keep New Products and Technologies Safe for Children
The advancement of new technologies has increased the quality of life for all of us. Unfortunately there are many products and services based on this advancement that can harm children's safety and wellbeing. To protect children from these dangers we must identify these dangers, educate the public, establish public policies and for some, demand these products be banned or are re-engineered to new standards of safety. For unsafe products used by children that are already banned by law, we must investigate and mitigate the reasons children continue to use unsafe products and to ensure that availability of these products to children are highly restricted.
We must work together to reverse the harm caused by these technologies and push back on newly established societal norms promoting products that are unsafe for children. This website has been produced to recognize the challenges facing those in this difficult mission to Put the Genie Back in the Bottle.
This non-commercial website provides links to resources to both those that share the mission of protecting children from potentially harmful products/technologies and provides information to the public about what work is being done and what resources are available. It is hoped that this site can offer encouragement to the mission by showing in one place those participating in this effort. These resources include non-profit, for-profit organizations and individuals. This site does not collect donations or referral fees and these links are provided for the convenience of visitors to this site only and are not provided as any form of endorsement or guarantee.

Our Mission
To recognize those that are taking action to prevent and reverse harm from the negative effects of new technologies, products and services used by children. These efforts can be carried out through
enhancing public awareness, parent education, legislation, legal action and
encouraging the development of technologies that are safe for children,
Whether it is smartphones, tablet computers, e-bikes, videogames, social media, screens in the classroom, manufactured foods or nicotine vape pens, the advance of technology and delivered content has not considered the wellbeing of children. Despite the concerns of social scientists, psychologists, educators and health professionals, our society has has been blindly accepting new norms. This must change.
